To reload this device, put the darts back in and put most of your body weight at the rear of the device until they lock into place. Every dart is constructed of a superior piece of 440C stainless steel, & includes extra darts. Accurate at 20 feet but has no problems reaching 30+ feet. The protecting collar acts as a “”safety”” and won’t fire unless pulled down.
